Our Beliefs

The Trinity

The one true God has revealed God’s self as eternally self-existent, embodying relationship and association by simultaneously existing as three Persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

Deut. 6:4 | Isa. 61:1 | Matt. 28:19 | Mark 12:29 | 1 Cor. 8:6

God the Father

God as Father reigns with providential care over all His creation. God is all powerful, all knowing, and all loving; existing as Father in spirit and truth to those who are His children.

Gen. 2:7 | Jer. 10:10 | John 4:24, 5:26 | Rom. 8:14

God the Son

Jesus Christ is the eternal Son of God. He lived a sinless human life and sacrificed Himself on the cross to atone for the sins of all people. After three days, He rose from death with all power, ascended into heaven, and will return to reign in glory.

Isa. 9:6-7 | John 1:14 | Acts 1:9-11 | Phil. 2:5-11

Holy Spirit

God as the Holy Spirit is present in the world and calls humanity to righteousness. The Spirit lives in every Christian from the moment of salvation to enlighten, empower, lead, guide, correct, convict, and comfort them to thrive and serve.

Matt. 3:16 | Luke 4:18-19 | John 14:16,26 | Acts 2:1-4

The Bible

The Bible is the inspired Word of God, a revelation from God to humanity, providing an infallible rule of faith and conduct that is superior, but not contrary to human reason.

2 Tim. 3:15-17 | 1 Pet. 1:23-25 | Heb. 4:12

Salvation

We are saved by grace through faith in Jesus Christ: His death, burial, resurrection, and ascension. Salvation is a received gift from God, not a result of good works or any human efforts.

Eph. 2:8-9 | Titus 3:3-7 | Rom. 10:9-10
